Terms and Conditions

Approximately two weeks prior to the event, the following must be finalized between the Client(s) and the Company:

  • Schedule

  • Location(s)

 

It is the client’s responsibility for scheduling the locations and persons to be included in the production. The Company will NOT be held liable for not capturing desired content if there is no one to assist in identifying or gathering desired people/items/locations to be captured. All parties agree to positive cooperation and communication for the best possible result within the definition of this assignment. The Company is not responsible for key individuals’ failure to be present or for their failure to cooperate during production, neither for missed images due to details not revealed to the Company.

It is understood that the Company will act as the sole and exclusive event videographer/photographer. The Company reserves the right to bring one assistant at his/her discretion.

 

Clients   acknowledge   that   all   work   created   under   this   agreement   is   the intellectual property of the Company, who shall retain the copyright to the photos and videos. Clients agree not to publish the photos and videos without written permission of the Company. Clients may post on any and all social media outlets, under the agreement to include credit to CAGED MEDIA TEAM.

 

Clients agree not to digitally manipulate any content for public viewing.

 

Clients will have unlimited personal use of the content at any time for no additional fee. Clients give permission for the Company to use the work for publication, display, advertising promotion and other uses.

 

While CAGED MEDIA TEAM and staff take the utmost care with respect to exposure,  processing  and  delivery  of  content,  in  the  event  that  the  images become lost, stolen or destroyed, for reasons within or beyond the control of the videographer/photographer, liability is limited to a refund of all monies received. The limit of liability shall not exceed the contract price.                   

 

In the event the Company Representative is unable to capture the event due to any unforeseen circumstance (technical difficulties, illness, emergency, accident, Act of God, etc), every effort will be made to find a suitable replacement. If a replacement is unavailable, any payment (including deposit) made to CAGED MEDIA TEAM will be refunded in full and return of the payment shall be the entire obligation under a contract. No other damages or guarantees of any kind are recognized or warranted.       

 

Should the clients need to reschedule the event due to any reason, CAGED MEDIA TEAM will amend the event date agreed on a contract, not to exceed 6 months following the original event date. Any deposit and monies paid thus far will be held by CAGED MEDIA TEAM and applied to rescheduled event date.

 

In the event clients wish to cancel, clients forfeit all monies paid to CAGED MEDIA TEAM. Cancellation must be received in writing (print, email or text). Notifications made via phone call or in person will NOT be accepted as a valid form of cancellation.

 

Clients are entitled to a 3-day cooling off period, meaning that if you notify CAGED MEDIA TEAM within 3 days of submitting a deposit, clients will receive a full refund.
